It soon became evident that Jesus had some very unusual powers. He was able to do things that no “normal” human could. The first record of this comes in John chapter 2 where Jesus is attending a wedding and a very embarrassing situation occurred. In this festive event, the hosting family had run out of wine. Jesus recognized the embarrassment this would cause and came to the rescue by turning water into wine.
