In Luke 19, we read about a man who was fairly short. Yet, he wanted to see Jesus. In an attempt to overcome his lack of height, he climbed into a tree. Jesus sensed this man’s need and desire and noticed him. Jesus encouraged him to come down out of the tree so that they could have lunch together. Jesus knows your needs and desires as well. He wants to be your friend and have lunch with you. Enjoy knowing that Jesus is your friend.
