In John chapter 11 Lazarus, a friend of Jesus’ died. Lazarus’ family was devastated and broken-hearted. Jesus Himself wept. In this case, Jesus raised Lazarus back to life. Jesus feels your hurt when you lose a loved one. He cares and wants to comfort you. He knows you’re hurt and He cares. As Christ followers, we know that death is only the beginning of life in Heaven.
