After Jesus’ death, His body was placed in a borrowed tomb. However, three days later, Jesus walked out of that grave having victory over sin, death and the grave. He is alive today and because of His victory, those who trust in Him will live forever as well. Sin, death and the grave can not hold those who have put their trust in what Christ has done for them. Believers in Him will spend all of eternity with Jesus and their loved ones who are also believers. This, my friend, is the hope we have in Christ. This is why He came, to give us everlasting life.
