We get another glimpse into the heart of Jesus and why He came in John chapter 3. Nicodemus was a very influential man in the Jewish community. He came to Jesus at night in hopes to find out how Jesus had so much power. What Nicodemus learned was difficult for him to understand. Jesus told him that he needed to be “born again”. He needed a new start, a new direction, a new life that only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Himself. All of us need this rebirth.
